Chef Shawn Bucher
With over 25 years of industry experience, Chef Shawn has worked in almost every segment of the food service industry.
Shawn holds an MBA, a Bachelors degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a UCAT (Utah College of Applied Technology) culinary certificate. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Hospitality Management at Kansas State University.
He is a Certified Executive Chef (CEC) and Certified Culinary Educator (CCE) through the American Culinary Federation and a Certified Culinary Professional (CCP) through the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
Having owned and operated independent and franchised food service concepts, as well as having served in many different roles over the years such as Executive Chef, Food Service Director, Chef Instructor, Director of Operations, Consultant and Chief Operating Officer to name a few.
He has worked with clients ranging from food service equipment manufacturers, large international companies and small local operations. Having been involved in everything from the concept, design, construction and opening of over 100 food service outlets across the United States.
Chef Shawn has won numerous awards over the years and brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to the foodservice and hospitality industries.
